Abdel Saïd and his mount, Bonnie Amie, took the win in the Longines Global Champions League 1.65m, € 1.25 million Super Grand Prix in Prague. 15,000 people witnessed his win in the 02 Arena.

Bonne Amie is Saïd’s 12-year-old mare who delivered a clear first around and the fastest second round with 62.45 seconds. There were no double clears in the Grand Prix. He did not expect to win, partially due to her size: it’s difficult to produce quick rides in covered arenas.

France’s Simon Delestre and Cayman Jolly Jumper came in second, being less than a second behind Said. Scott Brash and Hello Chadora Lady rounded out the podium. There were 15 competitors in the Grand Prix, and 11 of them cleared the first round.

Even without a double clear, Saïd was able to bring home with biggest win of his career!
