About Rider’s Life

Hello, I’m Cooper Spacek.

Hi! I’m Cooper Spacek, a 16-year-old sophomore at Fieldston. I split my time between NYC, the Hamptons, and Wellington, fully immersed in my passion for horseback riding. I’ve been riding since I was six, and from my very first ride, I was hooked. Today, I’m proud to be ranked 30th in the United States.

Equestrian life is a core part of who I am. Follow along as I share updates, experiences, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the world of horseback riding and competitions. I’ll bring you tips on training, preparing for shows, and everything that makes the equestrian lifestyle so exciting!

Be a part of our mission.

By showcasing equestrian skills, stories, and inspiring riders, Life aims to cultivate a lifelong passion for the next generation of equestrians. Advice from today’s top junior riders is essential for younger horse enthusiasts, as teens are at a pivotal stage for developing lasting interests and skills, making it the ideal time to build a strong foundation in horsemanship. Most long-form equestrian content focuses on either young children or adult riders, leaving a gap in resources for teens. Storytelling is an effective learning method for this age group; when they engage with the experiences of young riders striving for their goals, these narratives become powerful teaching tools.
